【ANS16 Real Review】 Is this mini handheld console worth buying?

16,000+ games + dual mode experience report!

I recently purchased a wireless mini handheld console that claims to have 16,000+ games and dual mode switching, making it particularly suitable for killing time while commuting or traveling. After using it for two weeks, I'm here to share my real experience and see if it's worth buying!

 

1. An incredibly rich game library—a dream come true for retro gamers

The official claim of 16,000+ built-in games initially seemed hard to believe, but upon booting up, I discovered it truly includes classics like FC, SFC, MD, GBA, and PS1! All those childhood memories came flooding back!

✅ Pros:  

 

There are so many games, you’ll never get bored, perfect for retro game enthusiasts.  

 Clear categorization makes finding games easy.  

 

Notes:  

Some games are duplicates (different versions), but most classics are included.  

Games with older graphics (like FC) look average on the 4.5-inch screen, but GBA and PS1 games look decent.

2. This handheld console uses a 4.5-inch IPS screen, which offers significantly better color reproduction and viewing angles than standard LCDs. When playing visually rich games, the visuals are vibrant with no motion blur issues.

However, for text-based RPGs (like Fire Emblem), prolonged use on the small screen can strain the eyes, so it’s recommended to take a break after 30 minutes of play.

3. Ultra-portable! A commuting and travel essential

Weighing only around 7g, it's lighter than a phone and takes up no space in your bag. I often pull it out to play while commuting or waiting for food—it's incredibly convenient!

Plus, it's wireless, so no cables are needed. A full charge provides 4–5 hours of playtime, more than enough for short trips.

4. Dual mode switching—play sitting or lying down

I really like this feature! It supports handheld + desktop mode:

5. Is the storage sufficient? Does it support expansion? ��  

The device comes with a 64GB TF card, which can store hundreds of games. However, if you want to save all 16,000 games, it won't be enough.  

 

However, it supports expansion (up to 512GB), so gamers who like to collect games can add their own cards.
